Exploring Thornton - Our Favorite Springtime Sites for New Residents to Visit

Are you planning to move to Grant Row Lofts in 2023? There's a variety of exciting springtime sites and activities surrounding our community that will be popular amongst tourists and residents alike. Here's a few of our favorites:

  1. Rock Park 1710 Front Street, Castle Rock, CO 80104 Rock Park is the trailhead for a 1.5-mile hike leading to the base of the town's famous Castle Rock. Visitors can climb this historic landmark through a looped, single-track trail. From these trails, hikers can reach the base of The Rock and are afforded panoramic views of Downtown Castle Rock, the Interstate 25 corridor, Pikes Peak, and the Front Range.

  2. Denver Art Museum 100 W 14th Avenue Parkway, Denver, CO 80204 The Denver Art Museum (DAM) is an art museum located in the Civic Center of Denver, Colorado. With encyclopedia collections of more than 70,000 diverse works from across the centuries and world, the DAM is one of the largest art museums between the West Coast and Chicago.

  3. Red Rocks Amphitheatre 18300 W Alameda Parkway, Morrison, CO 804656 Red Rocks is a geologically formed, open-air amphitheater not duplicated anywhere in the world. With Mother Nature as the architect, the design of the Amphitheatre consists of two 300-foot monoliths (Ship Rock & Creation Rock) that provide a stunning setting for any performance.

  4. Denver Botanic Gardens 1007 N York Street, Denver CO 80206 The Denver Botanic Gardens is a public botanical garden located in the Cheesman Park neighborhood of Denver, Colorado. The 23-acre park contains a conservatory, a variety of theme gardens and a sunken amphitheater, which hosts various concerts in the summer.

The EDGE Ziplines & Adventures 1375 Plum Creek Parkway, Castle Rock, CO 80109 The EDGE is an outdoor excitement center on the front range of the Rockies for adventurers of all ages who want to experience life on the edge. Fly on a top Colorado zipline tour or tackle the Sky Trek to experience the playground in the sky. Challenge gravity on the Adventure Tower's vertical climbs and exhilarating jumps.
